HSBG Partners

Business operations — built and run

Everything a business needs, except the idea.

We stand up the operational side of a company in the UK — entity, bank account, people, office, systems — and then keep it running.

01 Land in the UK — entity, tax registrations, bank, address
02 Staff up — search, contracts, right to work, payroll
03 Set up shop — office search, fit-out, workplace tech
04 Run it well — CRM, automation, AI tooling, reporting

01 — Position

Most companies don't fail on strategy. They stall on the operational things nobody owns. HSBG owns them.

One partner instead of eleven.

The usual route is a formation agent, an accountant, a recruiter, a broker, an IT reseller and a lawyer — each with their own scope and invoice. The gaps between them are where projects stall.

We work as one operating partner across all of it. Where regulated advice is needed we bring in named partner firms and manage them for you.

How we work

02 — Capability

The full operating stack.

01 / Market entry

Landing in the UK

Incorporation, share structure, registered office and HMRC registrations. For foreign parents, the subsidiary structure and the paperwork your head office won't have seen before.

  • Companies House incorporation
  • Registered & trading address
  • HMRC registrations
  • Director & PSC compliance
02 / Banking

Banking & finance operations

The hardest step for a foreign-owned company. We prepare the pack, brief the bank and run KYC to a decision — at whichever institution will actually approve you.

  • UK bank account opening
  • Multi-currency & FX
  • Bookkeeping & management accounts
  • Expenses, cards & approvals
03 / People

Hiring & talent

Scoping, market mapping, search and selection — from a first country manager to a full team. Contracts, right-to-work checks and sponsorship handled alongside.

  • Executive & commercial search
  • Employment contracts
  • Right to work & sponsorship
  • Onboarding & probation
04 / Payroll

Payroll, HR & compliance

RTI payroll, pensions, statutory leave and the advisory line your managers call before doing something expensive. Employer of record if you're not ready for an entity.

  • PAYE payroll & RTI filing
  • Pension auto-enrolment
  • Handbooks & policy
  • Employer of record
05 / Property

Office & workplace

Where to sit, what it costs and what you're signing. We run the search, model serviced against leasehold on real numbers, negotiate for you, then manage the fit-out.

  • Location & market analysis
  • Serviced vs leasehold modelling
  • Heads of terms negotiation
  • Fit-out & relocation
06 / Technology

Workplace technology

Identity, email, devices, network and security built properly on day one rather than retrofitted after an incident — plus a support desk your people can actually reach.

  • M365 / Google Workspace
  • Device procurement & MDM
  • Network, Wi-Fi & cabling
  • Security baseline & backup
07 / Systems

CRM & business systems

Process first, software second. We map how the business actually sells and delivers, then build HubSpot, Salesforce or Dynamics against it — migrated, integrated and adopted.

  • Process & data design
  • CRM selection & build
  • Integrations & migration
  • Adoption & training
08 / AI

AI & automation

Applied to genuinely repetitive work — quoting, documents, inbox triage, reporting. Built against your data with a human approval step. We'll say when it isn't worth automating.

  • Opportunity assessment
  • Internal assistants & agents
  • Document & email automation
  • Governance & data policy
09 / Assurance

Governance & risk

Contracts, GDPR, insurance, health and safety, and the statutory filing calendar. Delivered through named partner firms where regulated, coordinated by us either way.

  • Contract & policy framework
  • GDPR & data protection
  • Insurance & H&S
  • Filing calendar & deadlines

03 — Scope it

Build your plan.

Select what you need. The panel gives you an indicative programme length and the shape of engagement — then send it to us and we will put real numbers against it.

Workstreams overlap. Sequencing and timings are set at scoping.

04 — Method

How an engagement runs.

Every engagement follows the same five stages. The scope changes; the discipline does not.

Stage 01

Orientation

What you're doing, the deadline that matters, the constraints you're inside.

OutputOperating plan & sequence
Stage 02

Scope & commercials

Named owner, deliverable and date per workstream. Fees agreed up front.

OutputProposal & programme
Stage 03

Mobilisation

Long-lead items start immediately; everything else sequences behind them.

OutputLive programme
Stage 04

Delivery

We run the work and manage the third parties. You get recommendations, not questions.

OutputOperational business
Stage 05

Run or hand over

We keep running it, or hand it over documented. You own everything either way.

05 — Who we work with

Four situations, repeatedly.

A

Foreign companies entering the UK

A parent abroad that needs a real presence here without seconding half the head office to sort it out.

B

Funded startups scaling fast

Raised, hiring quickly, and the operational side hasn't caught up with the headcount plan.

C

Established SMEs modernising

Profitable, established, running on inherited systems and spreadsheets that no longer hold.

D

Founders starting properly

Building something new and wanting the structure right the first time rather than fixed later.

E

Investors & portfolio teams

Standardising finance, HR and IT across companies that were never built to match.

F

Businesses in transition

Carve-outs, relocations and restructures, where the operational side has to be rebuilt to a deadline.

06 — Questions

The things people ask first.

No. Much of our work is a single workstream — a CRM build, an office move, a payroll transfer. The full stack exists because some clients need all of it at once, not because it's a condition.

We prepare and run the application, but the decision belongs to the bank — anyone promising otherwise is misleading you. What we control is the quality of the submission and the choice of institution against your ownership structure.

Fixed fee for definable projects, retainer for ongoing operations, day rate only where scope can't yet be fixed. Search is a percentage of first-year salary, agreed up front. Any supplier introduction fee is disclosed and deducted from your invoice.

No. We're an operations firm. Regulated work — legal opinion, audit, immigration, financial advice — is delivered by named partner firms we appoint and manage. You see who they are and what they charge.

You keep everything. Tenancies, licences, domains and bank mandates are registered to your company from the start, never ours. Exit is a documented handover, written into the terms before you sign.

Yes, across the UK. Property and fit-out is where local knowledge matters most, and we hold agent and contractor relationships in the major regional markets as well as London.

Tell us what you're building.

A working session, not a sales call. Bring the deadline and the constraints; you'll leave with a sequence either way.
